UNTOUCHABLES to Appear on Kent Island

Compiled by NATALIE R. HANNON

The Untouchables are a Baltimore-based band well worth checking out. Their gig at the Jetty on Kent Island August 5 was a happenin' event. Their brand of red-hot blues, R&B, and rock, featuring an impressive four-piece horn section and the gutty vocals of lead singer Mary Lou [Magee], had everyone in the packed house dancing.

I understand they were even hotter the week before when none other than the Big Man, Clarence Clemmons got up and rocked the joint. Plans are to go into the recording studio this fall.

Catch the Untouchables while you can -they could be on to bigger things before you know it.
